Summary

+
Region:  Baden, Germany Quality Level:  Qualitatswein Grape Varieties: Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) Sweetness Level:  Dry Alcohol:  12.5% Vinification: The grapes are harvested solely by hand and fermented in small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is then followed by ageing for several months in oak casks.  Tasting Notes: This Spätburgunder displays an intensive ruby colour with a violet hue. It has an elegant nose with restrained fruit, reminiscent of cherries, red berries, elderberries, delicate oak spices, discreet vanilla, and subtle toasting. On the palate, it is elegant yet persistent, well-structured, with ripe fruit and delicate spiciness, making it an excellent wine with fruitiness and freshness. It offers a good aromatic length with a hint of coffee in the finish.
