Region: Southern Rhone Grape Varieties: Grenache Blanc, Cinsault,  Roussanne Alcohol: 14% Vinification: Over 50 years old vines, and made in organic ways, which are rare for VDP level wines. Manual harvest, and aged in 100% concrete tanks. Tasting Notes: Bright yellow colour with gold reflections. On the nose, subtle honeyed acacia notes. In the mouth, power is evident and it lines the entire palate with impressive amplitude.

Winery Story

La Celestiere is located on several terroirs in the heart of the ancient Châteauneuf-du-Pape villages. Many of their vines are close to 100 years old. The winery is now one of the most modern domaines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and all vineyard work is done using organic practices. The winery has received highly positive feedback from wine connoisseurs since its relaunch in 2009. The wine style is distinctive, pure, fruit-forward, and full of complexity.
