Region: Southern Rhone Grape Varieties: Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Alicante Alcohol: 14% Vinification: Over 50-year-old vines, produced using organic methods, which are rare for VDP-level wines. Manually harvested and aged in 100% concrete tanks. Tasting Notes: Deep red colour with burgundy reflections. On the nose, notes of prunes, blackcurrant, and cherries, finishing with hints of pepper and chocolate. On the palate, the red fruit medley makes a notable impact, and the finish is both delicious and refreshing.

Winery Story

La Celestiere is located at several terroirs in the heart of the ancient Châteauneuf-du-Pape villages. Many of their vines are close to 100 years old. The winery is now one of the most modern domaines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and all vineyard work is done by organic practices. The winery has received extremely positive feedback from wine connoisseurs since re-launched in 2009. The wine style is prominent, pure, fruit-forward, and full of complexity.
